Yongkang Elementary School was the host for this year’s Halloween party.
Everyone from the Syuejia English Village went to assist with the scary event.
The lineup for the day included a story from the Dark Knight, followed by some spine chilling games.

The story time was a presentation of the story In a Dark, Dark House, where a young lad wanders through the dark finding different scary things along the way until finally he sees something really scary.

Captain America then took over to make sure our young apprentices were ready to identify the evildoers and bring them to justice.
After the story the students split into three groups to play the three games that were spread through the hall.

The scary box tested the students bravery. The brave souls had to dig through a box filled with indescribably horrid things like monsters eyes, goblin pee, witch dandruff and newt droppings to find the treasure.

Next came a test of courage. Our young warriors had to fend off the attack of the Halloween evilness. In total there were nine creepy creatures, but only two were really evil. Once those two were destroyed, goodness prevailed.
Finally, after much terror, it was time to retrieve the bounty. Unfortunately, with their hands behind their backs, they used their mouths to grab their just rewards from the bog of whiteness and place them into their bags.
The day went off pretty well and after a morning of battle we all got together for a victory shot.

And more warriors…

And at the end of the day, even Batman and Captain America had a chance to take a deep breath and recuperate from the day and hang out with the principal and students at Yongkang.

Thanks very much to the staff and students for making this such an awesome day.
